Abrolhos Octopus, formerly West Australian Octopus, is a octopus fishing company based in the small fishing town of Geraldtown, Western Australia. Equipped with a fleet of high-tech fishing vessels, a team of dedicated and experienced fishermen, and the largest dedicated processing facility in Australia – they are ready to ship the best-tasting octopus not only to Australia, but to all corners of the Earth.
Abrolhos Octopus approached Lilo to develop a user-friendly website based on their designs and branding, and to showcase their product range.
All their products are prepared, packed and frozen at their premises only a stone’s throw away from the water. This is what ensures a high standard of freshness, quality and taste for all their products – available for purchase from both wholesalers and retailers.
Lilo chose WordPress as the ideal platform for the project, and worked closely with Abrolhos Octopus to develop the new website, centering around their new logo and branding.
The core concept was a clean layout with strong visual elements, with their content easily (and logically) accessible to all users.
Taking advantage of WordPress’ blogging functionality, a recipe section was added to show off tasty and nutritional dishes that can be prepared with octopus.
