The KOHL brand has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. With their skilled team of project managers and sales staff, they have a reputation for providing exceptional service and competitive product lines.
They deal with commercial and residential clients throughout Australia, working closely with hotels, architects, residential and commercial builders to develop bespoke solutions for their clients.
Lilo was approached to modernise the look of the existing KOHL website. A new responsive WordPress-based site was requested, where they could manage their own content.
The KOHL team had a simple (but crucial) list of requirements.
The new web design was to be built on WordPress. This would help their staff keep project and product portfolios current.
The site had to be responsive (mobile-friendly), to keep a consistent level of user experience across all devices.
Another important aspect was the home page, for which a full-width slider was to be implemented. The slider would use the entire space in the above-the-fold section. This feature, coupled with the right imagery and use of colour, would give new visitors an impressive introduction to the KOHL brand.
