ECU’s apps needed to deliver critical health information in an accessible, culturally sensitive way. We crafted a design that balanced functionality with community-focused aesthetics, incorporating intuitive interfaces, vibrant visuals, and localized content to engage users effectively. The design offers flexibility, enabling health workers and communities to interact with and adapt content to their needs.
Colour Palette: We selected a warm palette of earthy ochres, sky blues, and soft greens, reflecting Indigenous landscapes, accented by a bold red to draw attention to key actions.
Typography: A clean, sans-serif font ensures readability across devices, while a secondary bold font highlights critical health messages, balancing clarity with emphasis.
Imagery: We incorporated culturally relevant imagery, including Indigenous art-inspired patterns and community scenes, ensuring the apps feel welcoming and authentic.
