GymbaROO.

Early Childhood Development Classes

Brief

Australia’s GymbaROOs are learning centres for parents/children that focus on the natural physiological development of babies. These child development classes, aimed at little ones aged from 6 weeks to 5 years old, help lay down foundational pathways in the brain. This increases their future learning potential, helping to build a foundation for their future success.

The GymbaROO network is made up of independently-owned franchises. Lilo was approached by many franchise owners, each with a unique web domain, to create a website with a custom content management system.

The requirements of the CMS was to assist franchise staff in completing administrative functions, and also manage site content easily. For the front-end website users, the option to view and book classes was needed.

What We Did

Lilo developed a website to compliment the parent Gymbaroo website, but with design improvements and more functionality. Simple navigation options and engaging colours were implemented to help the user journey.

The feature page of the site was the timetable – the hub from where parents can view information on the current and upcoming term classes. Each class is colour-coded to easily define availability, and with a simple click parents can immediately start the onsite enrolment process.

Parents have access to a number of direct payment options (EFT, Credit Card, PayPal, and more).

For the GymbaROO site staff, the web backend contains the following functionality:

Create and / or manage new classes and terms
Manage class attendances
Manage client bookings and payment
The ability to export any of the above information as reports
The Gymbaroo Platform is a growing platform, with new functionality and features added with each new version.
